Happy Fall ... het door Carla gewonnen kaartje

Hallo allemaal!

I love PUMPKINS!

Thinking of you ... a Lili of the Valley card and a tea bag holder

Hallo allemaal!

Groetjes, Laura

HAPPY FALL! ... Stampin' Up! French Foliage set

Hello and welcome to my Blog! Yeah, Friday is here again ... Here's a Happy Fall card with the Stampin' Up! "French Foliage" set. I hope you like it. With the temperatures dropping (and soon the leaves will start to change colors), it can only mean one thing: it's time to decorate the house and our front door for Fall. I bought my first pumpkins already ... this year at the supermarket, lol! Gone are the days where we travel as a family (our kids are teenagers now) to go to the pumpkin farm, selecting pumpkins and enjoying the fine Fall weather.

That's all for today! Thanks for stopping by today and have a wonderful weekend!

Hugs, Laura

Another Tea Party invitation ...

Hi there and welcome to my Blog! You'd better get a cup of tea right away, lol! Sorry, here I am AGAIN with a Tea Party Invitation. I really couldn't stop myself creating this one! Sometimes you have this great idea in your mind, and you want to start immediately. This morning, I woke up really early to get it done, and let me tell you that I am normally not a morning person.

Just love this color combination: Stampin' Up!'s Rich Razzleberry and Basic Gray cardstock and ink combined with the silver ribbon + tulle ribbon and doily, and the stamp set: Close To My Heart "Tea Time". I do love a good cup of tea, and it doesn't matter what time it is! Don't you think this invitation gives you a feeling of a High Tea celebration?

By the way, did you enjoy your cup of tea, lol? Thanks for stopping by! Take care and have a lovely day!

Hugs, Laura

Just LOVE the hanging baskets!

FRIENDS ... a scrapbook layout

 "Life is like a camera.
Just focus on what's important and capture the good times,
develop from the negatives and if things don't work out, just take another shot."

Hi and welcome to my blog! Happy Friday! Today I'd like to share this scrapbook layout with you. For creating this I've used a Recollections 12" x 12" Paper Pad called: "Portobello Road" and the Stampin' Up! stamp set: "Vintage Vogue".

Last week I joined a crop night at Shannon's house. She is so lucky to be a Creative Memories consultant. She prepared a delicious dinner and a fantastic dessert for all of us, and after that we had to start working on our scrapbook pages. The one I am showing you is one of the layouts I finished during the crop night. It is so much fun to hang out with good friends and work on our photo albums at the same time! Thank you so much Shannon for organizing these Creative Memories crop nights, AND the scrapbook weekends!

Well, that's all for now ... Thanks for checking my blog today and wishing you all a wonderful weekend wherever you are. I hope you'll enjoy some stamping or scrapbooking time!

Big Hugs and greetings from the USA, Laura

SWEET SIXTEEN ...

Hello Blogger friends and followers! Just a quick post today. I'd like to share this SWEET SIXTEEN card (using My Mind's Eye designer cardstock paper: "Lost & Found" and the Stampin' Up! Trim Pompom) with you. The birthday girl is our niece Famke, who will celebrate her 16th birthday soon.  This is the very first time I used my sewing machine for creating a card. I am so happy with the way this card came out.

Thanks for visiting today and have a wonderful day!

A vintage style wall hanging ...

Hello from the USA! Tuesday is here! How is your week going? As you might have noticed, I am experimenting with creating wall hangings lately. It is a wall hanging (instead of a b-day card) for my aunt who will celebrate her birthday next month. The picture shows my dad (he passed away more than 3 years ago, and we all do miss him a lot) and his sister.

Sorry, I gotta go now, making another wall hanging, lol! This time for my grandma. There are so many birthdays coming up the following months, I'd better hurry up and start creating more cards! First, I need a cup of coffee and a piece of the vanilla cake (with slices of apple on the bottom) I baked yesterday ... mmmmmmm ...

Thanks for stopping by! Take care and have a lovely day!

Hugs, Laura
